Through the unique TripleA technology the GEM provides our clients with a system that automatically does what is required. No manual intervention is necessary!

• TripleA™ system keeps an up to date copy of your main GEM disk.
• You get two additional disks, identical to your main disk. One of them - 'the mirror disk' - is placed in the GEM - there is a hot-swap tray ready for it. The other disk is kept off site or in a fireproof safe.
• If your main disk fails, the second disk having been automatically kept up to date may be used instead.
• Once a week (or more often if you prefer) you swap the 'off-site' disk with your 'mirror' disk.
• If you suffer a fire, flood or theft and your server cannot be used, the 'off-site' disk is an exact copy of your main disk although it may be a few days old. Therefore you can simply insert it into a factory new GEM and your server is back and running in minutes!
• Disk mirroring creates a 'Wastebasket' which keeps a 'previous' version of every file that has been modified. As all modified and deleted files are archived and can be retrieved immediately, you are protected from accidental or malicious changes, making it easier for you to recover from mistakes.
